Description

No person shall import, sell, offer for sale, purchase, barter or possess with intent to sell, any ivory, ivory product from an animal, including but not limited to, an elephant, hippopotamus, mammoth, narwhal, walrus, or whale or a piece thereof, whether raw ivory or worked ivory.

Very harsh ivory ban extending well beyond elephants without meaningful exemptions for antiques, musicians, or practically anything else involving private use of ivory.
