Commentary

We cannot stress enough how ridiculous and overbearing these bills are. Mammoth have been extinct for 10,000 years, and selling your violin with an ivory bridge that was made in the 50's is in no way endangering the living elephants. The US is not even on the map when it comes to receiving the poached ivory. Criminalizing US citizens for a problem that revolves around Africa and Asia is an overreach of the government, whether federal or state.
